Musicorum is a Mankato, Minnesota area chamber choir, performing twice-a-year classical concerts for the public. Come and enjoy something different and wonderful - the blending and artistry of voices raised in song.

Our spring concert program, "Songs of Hope and Freedom," will feature beautiful and
uplifting choral music from across the centuries. This program will spotlight
spirituals and American and English folksongs, including an arrangement by Minnesota
composer Stephen Paulus, Rene Clausen's arrangement of the classic American
folksong Deep River, and Alice Parker's arrangement of the rousing hymn Hark, I Hear
The Harps Eternal. We also will perform Paul Mealor's Ubi Caritas, an arrestingly
beautiful work with shimmering harmonies sung at the April 2011 British royal
wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Our concert venue, the Chapel of Our Lady of Good Counsel, at the School Sisters of
Notre Dame complex in Mankato, is a soaring, gorgeous sound environment with a
powerful organ and lots of reverberation. We believe this amazing space will greatly
enhance our sound, and the overall concert experience.
$10 general admission; $8 seniors; $5 students
